How did you get the name Kahuna?
In January 2001, Frank Lunn acquired majority ownership in CMS, Inc. To reflect the changes in scope and opportunity, Frank referred to this new formation as the “Big Kahuna.” Recognizing the likeness of the ocean’s ebb and flow to that of the changing tide of business, Frank adopted the name Kahuna Business Group as a representation of this unique business model.

What does Kahuna Business Group have in common with surfing?
