Kahuna Team

Pamela Philipps
Client Development Coordinator
Pam joined Kahuna in January 2006 as an Administrative Assistant for the Client Services Team. Pam is responsible for assisting the client services team with various filing, data-entry, handling disputes, and administering the Flex-Pay program.  With a wide variety of experience in accounting/banking and customer service, Pam is a great addition to the Kahuna team with her positive “can do” attitude. Pam has an Associates Degree in History from Richland College and is continuing her education towards a bachelor degree in Elementary Education.  Before joining the Kahuna team, Pam managed La Tea Da gift shop in Clinton. Pam lives in Clinton with her husband Rod; they have two children, daughter Whitney at college, and son Collin at home.


 
Diana Martinez
Client Development Coordinator
Diana joined Kahuna in September 2005 and brings a vast knowledge of business skills and customer service experience to our team. In her role, Diana works closely with our customers to ensure that compliance requirements are met  and provides them with outstanding assistance. She is also fluent in Spanish and provides excellent support to our Spanish speaking customers.  Diana attended University of Puerto Rico where she studied advertising and marketing. Prior to joining the Kahuna team, Diana was employed by American Express as a credit analyst and at General Electric Consumer Finance as auditor in risk management  and  GE Consumer Industrial as Bilingual Account Representative for the Multilin Division.


Brianne Herrman
Finance Associate

Brianne graduated from Illinois State University in 2001and began a career in customer service. Kahuna was lucky enougn to snag her in July of 2003 and add her magic touch to our bookkeeping department. Brianne is responsible for tracking ACHs, daily deposits and all A/R and A/P functions. The combination of her Kahuna spirit and amazing baking skills have also landed her in charge of the monthly employee birthday cake, yum!



Mike Melzer
Client Service Technician

Mike came to Kahuna Business Group in May 2003 having received his BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1989. Mike brings great value to the Kahuna Service Center with 7 years of experience in banking and over 7 years experience in the ATM industry including both NCR and Triton certifications. His role is to provide technical service support for clients via phone and field service; coordinate technician install schedules and oversee network equipment upkeep.



Dean Wake
Client Services IT Technician

Dean joined the Kahuna team as a Client Service IT Technician in 2003. He spent two years at Gateshead Technical College in the United Kingdom and brings 26 years of computer and electronics experience to his position. Dean’s role is to help maintain IT systems internally and provide ATM technical support to our client base.



Julie Weilbacher
Residual Coordinator

Julie has been with Kahuna since December of 2002. She is responsible for month-end residual procedures and insuring that the revenue from new and existing ATMs processing with Kahuna Business Group are paid in a correct and timely manner. Prior to coming to Kahuna, Julie was the HR and Inventory Control Manager for 5 years at a fiberglass manufacturing company. She is graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education.
